Akkodis is seeking a FPGA design engineer, Contract with a client in Goleta, CA (Hybrid). We’re ideally looking for applicants who have 8+ years of experience in FPGA design and development.
Pay Range: $95-$100 per hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project overview
- The Quantum team's mission is to make state-of-the-art quantum computing tools available to the world to enable humankind to solve problems that would otherwise be impossible. The Quantum electronics team is carrying out a broad range of R&D aimed at implementing the best quantum computers in the world, with a long-term goal of realizing a fault-tolerant quantum computer.
Overall responsibility
- As an FPGA design engineer, you will take ownership of project components and develop scalable RTL that meets timing requirements. You'll also play a key role in creating and executing test plans to validate your design features. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing proof-of-concept designs that utilize Xilinx/Intel IPs. Your expertise will ensure the successful implementation and verification of FPGA designs within the project. By owning these responsibilities, you'll contribute significantly to the overall project's success.
Mandatory Qualifications
- BS degree or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FPGA design and development.
- Experience with RTL design using Verilog or systemVerilog
- Experience with JESD DAC and ADC bring up
- Experience with AXI, PCIe, Ethernet
